Meet Steven – The Oven Guy
I’m Steven, Wigan born and bred, now based in Standish, and I’ve spent my entire working life fixing and maintaining appliances.
I started my career at 17 as an Appliance Repair Engineer, working at Norweb back in 1992. Since then, I’ve worked for a wide range of repair companies and manufacturers including Comet, Zanussi, Iceland and British Gas.
In 2012, I came off the tools and moved into customer-focused roles with Hive, part of British Gas at the time. Following redundancy in 2018, I decided to put my hands-on experience back to proper use and started offering professional oven cleaning and repairs locally across Wigan.
Unlike many oven cleaning services, I’m fully qualified to repair and install electric ovens and cookers. I carry many commonly used parts on my van, which means faults can often be fixed there and then – saving you time, hassle and repeat visits.
I take pride in doing things properly, leaving your kitchen clean, safe and your oven working exactly as it should.
